Her judgmental comments certainly don't help bring mothers together, but at the same time she also reminds us that we are all different and if could all just accept it, let it roll off our backs and move on, that might be beneficial in the end too. I don't like generalizations about people, whether they are for chuckles or not. It short-changes you out of really getting to know people and understanding how everyone is complex.<br />I might read it after I lighten up about mommyhood a bit and I think I would have enjoyed it if I were pregnant but now that the baby is here... I feel different about a lot of things.
