I'm an Aunt! Introducing Jackson Bernard!!
Arriving 5 weeks early, my little nephew, Jackson Bernard, was born on Tuesday, August 30, 2016!!!
It was a roller coaster of a pregnancy - finding out at 20 weeks that something was wrong with his heart, then my sister was put on steroids and the heart defect basically reversed itself! Then growth rate concerns, amniotic fluid concerns, lots and lots of concerns. The doctors decided to take the baby on Tuesday because the amniotic fluid was very low and concerning. So they put her in for a c-section and little Jackson was born weighing 3 lbs, 11 oz and measuring 15.25 inches. So teeny tiny! I can't wait for the day I can hold him, but for now, rest and grow grow grow little one!

My son was 4lbs 3 oz and I knew when I saw that picture that it was a teeny tiny baby. I have a special place in my heart for those little ones :) Congratulations Auntie! I hope he gets big and strong quick (or strong at least) and their hospital stay is short lived.
