Natalie's First Birthday - Part 2

Yesterday, I shared Natalie's Birthday Party - Part 1. After everyone arrived to Natalie's Birthday party, and noshed on hummus, taco dip, and spinach dip, we served lunch to the guests: Swedish meatballs, baked ziti, chicken piccata, grilled chicken salad, garlic broccoli, and chicken a la vodka.
I was chasing around Natalie for most of the day, but it was so nice to have friends from High School, College, work, and friends we've met through friends over the past few years all together in one room, catching up and reconnecting.
Around 3:00pm, Natalie was exhausted and ready for a nap. I nursed her to sleep upstairs but didn't have a crib to put her in and wanted to get back to the party. She stayed sleeping on my shoulder and then I transferred her to the couch where she slept for about an hour.
When she woke up, we showed a 10 minute video-slideshow of Natalie's first year. I worked really hard on it just in the 24 hours leading up to the party!! I'm so glad I did it though, it makes me cry pretty much every time I watch it.

Here's the video I put together highlighting the best of Natalie's first year. I did this exclusively on imovie on my ipad. Enjoy!:

  1. The video is so adorable and that food looks amazing! I wish I would have taken more videos when Jeanette was super tiny.
